When I get my income tax refund, I plan on making a purchase or two. The refund is about $500, not much, I know, but I don’t like working. This is beside the point. The top option in my spending-spree is putting that money towards a bottom-of-the-line unibody Macbook, total price $899 from the education store. The next option is purchasing a 32GB iPod touch for $299 and having money left over. However, I already own an 8GB iPod Nano, which is in perfect shape. The third option is putting that money towards a beautiful, bottom-of-the-line 13” Macbook Pro, total price $1099 from the education store. This option would require a bit more saving. The final option is simply saving the money.

There is an internal struggle set in motion, though. I already have a 20” iMac and Asus EEE PC, which I would like to sell to my mom for around $100. I don’t really need a computer, but I want one. I also don’t need a new, bigger, flashier iPod, but I want one. You only live once, though, am I right? Why not have all the shit I want? Who’s got some input?
